Pennywise
Ummm, I just realized that Tim Curry played “Pennywise” in the movie version of IT. Dur. I was going to post a picture to go with this revelation but so many people are scared of clowns (thanks Stephen King) that I’ll spare you the graphic. Instead, here is a link to the “Top Ten Scariest Things to Ruin a Childhood”. I was actually spared most of these frights by my parents who were absolute sticklers for the MPA’s rating system, my list would be titled “Top Ten Scariest Things to Ruin the Year After You Turned 17”. I wasn’t going to get to see that PG-13 movie until I was 13, damnit, but anything I could find at the library was fair game. Hence my fear of clowns, Prom, dead pets, antique stores and resort hotels.
